   Dear Simon,

   Just to say thanks for all your hard work and to’ing-and-fro’ing at our recent mediation with our neighbours over the boundary dispute we had with them. The fence is up and all is quiet on the Western (or rather, North-North-Western) front!

   We are very pleased with the outcome and can certainly live with the agreement that was reached. It’s a real weight off our shoulders.
